Our goal is to build a community of Excel Users from the local IMA Chapters (Institute of Management Accountants). We are a user group that is lead by users for the sole purpose of our users. No one on our staff is paid, so we can keep the cost of each session low and participation up.
If you went to any of the sessions at Excel Masters, then you should be familiar with our objectives. Due to the high demand for sessions in San Francisco, we started our own group to better serve our members. We will continue the monthly sessions but we are also rolling out new ideas, like Certification Programs to prepare you for Excel 2003 Certification Exams.
All classes will be held using Excel 2003, but we will have Excel 2007 on the main computer so that any specific 2007 questions can be answered.
Excel recorded Macros can greatly simplify repetitive tasks. They are easy to record and once you understand the basics of VBA you will be able to expand there functionality.
